Job Title: Hygiene Operator - Night Shift
Location: Crossmaglen
Hourly Rate: £16.43 per hour
Shift: Night Shift
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Operator to join a reputable food manufacturing facility based in Crossmaglen. As part of the Night Shift team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the production area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to adhering to high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitation of the production area, including equipment, machinery, and work surfaces, following strict hygiene standards and procedures.

Ensure all hygiene tasks are completed in line with health and safety regulations.

Maintain the cleanliness of the building, including toilets, changing rooms, and corridors.

Safely handle and dispose of waste materials, ensuring a clean and safe environment at all times.

Follow the company’s cleaning schedules and guidelines, ensuring all areas are cleaned in accordance with required standards.

Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or concerns to the Hygiene Manager.

Ensure all cleaning chemicals and materials are used in a safe and efficient manner.

Work closely with the production team to ensure minimal disruption during cleaning tasks.

Conduct routine inspections of cleaning practices and ensure all safety and hygiene procedures are followed.
Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role, preferably within the food production or manufacturing sector.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (training can be provided).

Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to follow health and safety regulations and work with cleaning chemicals safely.

Flexibility to work night shifts and potential overtime as required.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
