Job Title: Hygiene Operator - Night Shift
Location: Crossmaglen
Hourly Rate: £16.43 per hour
Shift: Night Shift

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Operator to join a reputable food manufacturing facility based in Crossmaglen. As part of the Night Shift team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the production area. Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitation of the production area, including equipment, machinery, and work surfaces, following strict hygiene standards and procedures.

• Ensure all hygiene tasks are completed in line with health and safety regulations.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the building, including toilets, changing rooms, and corridors.

• Safely handle and dispose of waste materials, ensuring a clean and safe environment at all times.

• Follow the company’s cleaning schedules and guidelines, ensuring all areas are cleaned in accordance with required standards.

• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or concerns to the Hygiene Manager.

• Ensure all cleaning chemicals and materials are used in a safe and efficient manner.

• Work closely with the production team to ensure minimal disruption during cleaning tasks.

• Conduct routine inspections of cleaning practices and ensure all safety and hygiene procedures are followed.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role, preferably within the food production or manufacturing sector.

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (training can be provided).

• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to follow health and safety regulations and work with cleaning chemicals safely.

• Flexibility to work night shifts and potential overtime as required.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
