We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, who are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Systems Implementation Specialist to lead the implementation of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This is a fixed-term contract/project for 12 months, working 4-5 days per week, and based on-site in Sligo.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving forward a strategic HR transformation project within a collaborative and values-driven organisation.

The Role:

  • Lead the implementation of the new HRIS system across the business
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Map and analyse current HR workflows and processes, recommending improvements
  • Manage data migration and ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity
  • Deliver system training and support to HR, managers, and employees
  • Configure the system to align with reporting, workflow, and permissions needs
  • Act as the main point of contact for the HRIS vendor and manage issue resolution
  • Support post-implementation optimisation and continuous improvement
  • Champion change and adoption across the organisation through effective communication

 

The Person:

  • Third-level qualification in HR, Business, or Project Management
  • Proven experience implementing or managing an HRIS system
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and systems integration
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident communicator and experienced in delivering training
  • Highly analytical with strong Excel/data handling capabilities
