We are hiring for a leading global provider of financial services, based in Belfast. This dynamic organisation are seeking an HR Operations Manager to lead their HR operations transaction team and manage key HR processes across their EMEA region.

The Role:

  • Oversee the production of HR documents and data entry within the HR system (Workday)
  • Manage the new hire process, including offer letters, background checks, and onboarding
  • Ensure timely processing of employee contractual changes and family-friendly requests
  • Support global mobility by preparing secondment and transfer documentation
  • Manage the leaver process, including letters, settlement agreements, and termination payments
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing each month
  • Lead HR data entry and management within HRIS and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Support HR process improvement and ensure smooth operation of HR-related tasks
  • Provide leadership and guidance to HR peers and senior managers on operational HR matters

 

The Person:

  • Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to engage with senior managers and peers
  • Previous HR operational experience within a professional services/financial services/technology/shared services environment, advantageous
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced HR environment, with a focus on operations
  • Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Experience managing confidential employee data and sensitive information
  • Ability to manage HR processes and implement improvements
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems (Workday experience is a plus)
