Due to impressive expansion and success, our Belfast City Centre Client, a leading professional services organisation wishes to recruit a new, permanent HR Manager.
Working closely with the Head of HR, the successful HR Manager will act as a trusted advisor to Senior Management and play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategy.
Key areas of focus will include talent and succession planning, driving culture and engagement through HR initiatives and supporting leadership drive performance.
The Role:
- Work closely with the Head of HR
- Develop and manage effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Implement annual strategy around talent, succession planning, culture and engagement initiatives, leadership and performance
- Act as a trusted advisor, advising on all HR matters related to recruitment, development and retention of employees
- Facilitate the resolution of issues. Early identification and proactive resolution of ER issues
- Lead on the new performance management approach, facilitating small group training and working on engagement initiatives.
- Work with the training and development team to ensure that development needs are assessed and development initiatives are designed and delivered.
- Responsible for the successful implementation of the salary and bonus review process
- Analysis and action planning following engagement survey
- Work with the Finance team to supply data for the budgeting and resource planning process
- Responsible for agreeing career breaks and other periods of unpaid leave and flexible working arrangements
- Undertake exit interviews, analyse feedback and respond as appropriate
- Influence the development of performance, recognition and reward policies and talent programmes and advise on implementation
The Person:
- 3rd level qualification, essential
- CIPD qualified
- Experienced HR practitioner with significant HR Management or Business Partnering experience
- Experience working in an HR capacity within a large scale, complex organisation - professional services, shared services, finance environment would be ideal
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent track record of working with senior management within a complex organisation
- Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to influence strategic thinking/direction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative team player
- High energy individual who enjoys both the operational and strategic sides of this role and shows great flexibility
