Our client, is a highly successful, leading financial services organisation, headquartered in Belfast City Centre.  They are in growth mode and to support the future vision and strategy, they are keen to appoint a HR Assistant.

Reporting to the Head of People, this is a really varied senior HR Administration role, offering flexible working and 2 days WFH.

 

The Role

  • Administer day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit
  • Assist with recruitment, vetting candidates, and issuing employment contracts
  • Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and consistent integration for new colleagues
  • Maintain HR information systems and ensure accuracy of employee data
  • Process payroll and support administration of employee compensation, benefits, and annual remuneration reviews
  • Coordinate learning and development activities, including training programmes, workshops, seminars, and professional accreditations
  • Manage internal and external HR reporting requirements
  • Act as first point of contact for guidance on company policies and HR practices
  • Deliver employee communications via newsletters, townhalls, and other channels
  • Manage and support the performance review process to encourage a culture of high performance
  • Stay up-to-date with employment legislation and HR best practices to improve delivery
  • Perform office administrative duties and other reasonable tasks as required

 

The Person

  • 3rd level qualification
  • CIPD qualified, desirable
  • Minimum of 1-2 years HR Administrator/Coordinator experience
  • Professional services/financial services/consultancy sector exposure
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Excellent IT and systems experience
