Our client, is a highly successful, leading financial services organisation, headquartered in Belfast City Centre. They are in growth mode and to support the future vision and strategy, they are keen to appoint a HR Assistant.
Reporting to the Head of People, this is a really varied senior HR Administration role, offering flexible working and 2 days WFH.
The Role
- Administer day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit
- Assist with recruitment, vetting candidates, and issuing employment contracts
- Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and consistent integration for new colleagues
- Maintain HR information systems and ensure accuracy of employee data
- Process payroll and support administration of employee compensation, benefits, and annual remuneration reviews
- Coordinate learning and development activities, including training programmes, workshops, seminars, and professional accreditations
- Manage internal and external HR reporting requirements
- Act as first point of contact for guidance on company policies and HR practices
- Deliver employee communications via newsletters, townhalls, and other channels
- Manage and support the performance review process to encourage a culture of high performance
- Stay up-to-date with employment legislation and HR best practices to improve delivery
- Perform office administrative duties and other reasonable tasks as required
The Person
- 3rd level qualification
- CIPD qualified, desirable
- Minimum of 1-2 years HR Administrator/Coordinator experience
- Professional services/financial services/consultancy sector exposure
- Team player
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Excellent eye for detail
- Excellent IT and systems experience
