We are delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation in Northern Ireland to recruit an HR Apprentice to join their growing People & Culture team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with people and wants to build a career in Human Resources. Whether you are starting your career journey, looking for your first professional opportunity, or considering a change of direction, this apprenticeship provides the perfect platform to gain a recognised BSc Hons Human Resource Management degree while gaining valuable hands-on HR experience.
No previous HR experience is required. This role is designed for someone with the right attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn. You will receive support, mentoring and practical experience while contributing to meaningful people-focused work.

The Role
- This role combines paid employment with part-time study towards a BSc Hons Human Resource Management degree.
- Four days per week working within the People & Culture team
- One day per week dedicated to university study
- Fully funded qualification with no tuition fees
- Learn through a combination of workplace experience, mentoring and academic study
- Join an established People & Culture team and gain exposure across a broad range of HR activities.
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Supporting recruitment campaigns, interview coordination and candidate communications
- Assisting with early careers recruitment initiatives, including graduate and intern programmes
- Supporting pre-employment checks, onboarding processes and new starter arrangements
- Helping to deliver a positive candidate and employee experience
- Learning & Development
- Supporting the coordination of training activities and learning programmes
- Maintaining accurate training records and supporting reporting requirements
- Assisting with development initiatives and employee learning activities
- Employee Engagement, Wellbeing & Inclusion
- Supporting employee engagement activities, internal communications and team initiatives
- Assisting with wellbeing campaigns and inclusion initiatives
- Helping create a positive and supportive workplace culture
- HR Systems & Administration
- Maintaining accurate HR records, trackers and systems
- Supporting HR reporting and data management activities
- Assisting with People & Culture projects and team administration
- Handling confidential employee information professionally and responsibly
The Person
This is an entry-level opportunity, and we are looking for potential rather than previous HR experience.
Essential criteria to qualify:
- BCC A Levels (or equivalent) and GCSE English and Maths at Grade C (or equivalent)
- Candidates with 3rd level qualification in HR or Business-related disciplines will not qualify
- A genuine interest in HR, people and workplace culture
- Strong organisation skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness to learn, ask questions and develop new skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Confidence using Microsoft Office or willingness to develop digital skills
- A positive, reliable and team-focused approach
- Experience gained through education, part-time work, volunteering, clubs or community activities is welcomed where you can demonstrate teamwork, communication and responsibility.
