We are hiring for our client, a leading professional construction company that operates across the UK and Ireland, providing construction, property redevelopment, and refurbishment services in various sectors.

They are currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in health and safety while contributing to the administrative functions of a growing business.

The Role

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will:

  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the health and safety manager in investigating accidents and incidents.
  • Help maintain accurate health and safety documentation and prepare performance reports.
  • Organise health and safety training sessions and promote safety awareness across sites.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and auditors on health and safety matters.
  • Assist in emergency response planning and participate in drills and safety exercises.

The Person

  • Has NEBOSH or H&S equivalent certification.
  • Experience within a Construction and Main Contractor.
  • Possesses strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Has a understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Works well in a team and thrives in a dynamic work environment.
  • Has a full UK driving licence (preferred, as site visits are required).
