We are hiring for our client, a well-established, market-leading manufacturer, who are seeking an experienced Group HR Officer to join their team based in Lisburn, Co. Antrim.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven HR professional to gain exposure across the full HR function within a fast-paced, growing organisation. The Group HR Officer will support the Head of HR and partner with management teams across multiple sites, delivering both operational and strategic HR support.

The Role

  • Provide HR advice and support to managers across multiple sites
  • Support employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and redundancy
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Develop and update HR policies in line with legislation and best practice
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support culture development
  • Support training and development planning across teams
  • Maintain HR systems, reports, and time & attendance data
  • Produce HR metrics and reports to support decision making
  • Assist in the delivery of HR strategy and organisational initiatives

 

The Person

  • CIPD qualified
  • 3–5 years’ HR Officer experience, ideally within a production led /manufacturing /engineering /construction /distribution environment
  • Strong knowledge of NI employment legislation
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing desirable)
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, hands-on approach
