An excellent opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join an award winning, innovative manufacturing company based in Monaghan. Reporting to the Design Manager you will lead the design and development of new products, liaising closely with production

The Role:

• Develop new designs from initial concept to implementation and improve existing designs.
• Work with sales team to visit customer sites to confirm customers equipment requirements.
• Implementation and maintenance of Lean systems for production process.
• Work closely with our production team during the manufacturing process.
• Creation of SOP’s and production tutorials
• Verify designs using traditional analytical methods
• Asses and implement continuous improvement for production process.

The Person:

• Degree educated in a relevant engineering related subject
• Minimum of 6 months placement experience in a similar design role
• Experience using SolidWorks or AutoCad
