We are hiring for our client, a growing organisation based in County Antrim, who are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of day-to-day finance activities, support accurate financial reporting, strengthen financial controls and provide clear insight to help drive effective business decisions.
The successful Finance Manager will work closely with the wider finance leadership team and key stakeholders across the business, supporting budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, financial reporting, audit, process improvement and team development.

The Role
As Finance Manager, you will:
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and key finance activities are delivered accurately
- Lead and contribute to monthly management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis
- Produce clear commentary and insight on financial performance, variances and key business drivers
- Support the preparation of group financial reporting packs
- Act as a key point of contact during the year-end audit process
- Review financial and operational results to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations, reporting processes and supporting schedules
- Support budgeting, forecasting, working capital management and cost control
- Monitor direct costs, overheads and inventory valuations
- Work closely with other departments to improve processes and support better decision-making
- Provide coaching, guidance and support to finance team members
- Assist with finance system and ERP-related improvements where required
- Ensure compliance with financial standards, internal policies and data protection requirements
The Person
The successful Finance Manager will have:
- Strong experience in a finance management, management accounting or financial reporting role
- Excellent month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and confidence advising on accounting treatment
- Experience managing or supporting audit processes
- Strong financial control and process improvement experience
- Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret financial results clearly
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across departments
- Experience coaching or supporting finance team members
- Strong systems skills, with ERP implementation or improvement experience desirable
- A high level of accuracy, organisation and personal accountability
