We are working with a highly regarded commercial law team seeking an ambitious Employment Solicitor with 1-3 years’ PQE to join their growing Employment practice in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who is looking to further develop their career within a market-leading employment team, gaining exposure to high-quality advisory and contentious employment work for a diverse range of employers across a variety of sectors.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced practitioners advising organisations on complex employment and workplace matters, including strategic HR advice, employment disputes, restructuring projects, workplace investigations and employment issues arising from corporate transactions.
The Role
As an Employment Solicitor, you will advise clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

Providing practical, commercial employment law advice to employers across a range of industries.

Advising on employment contracts, workplace policies, procedures and employee handbooks.

Supporting clients with disciplinary processes, grievances, performance management matters and dismissals.

Advising on redundancies, restructures and organisational change projects.
-
Assisting with employment-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions and corporate transactions.

Managing employment disputes and supporting clients through litigation processes.

Preparing legal correspondence, advice notes and client documentation.

Conducting legal research and keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory developments.

Supporting client training initiatives and contributing to business development activities.
The role offers excellent exposure to a broad client base, providing the opportunity to work on interesting and commercially significant employment matters while continuing to build strong technical and advisory skills.
About You
The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified solicitor in Ireland or another recognised common law jurisdiction.

Have 1-3 years’ PQE experience practising employment law.

Have experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

Possess strong technical legal skills with excellent attention to detail.

Demonstrate strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Have a commercial and pragmatic approach to client service.
-
Be confident communicating with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Be proactive, organised and keen to develop their career within employment law.
