The Role
- Lead and develop the firms employment practice, driving growth in both revenue and reputation
- Advise a high-quality client base on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Handle complex employment litigation, WRC and Labour Court proceedings, and senior executive matters
- Advise on large-scale restructuring, TUPE, and workforce matters in transactional contexts
- Play a key leadership role within the partnership, contributing to firm strategy and culture
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers, building a high-performing employment team
- Identify and capitalise on cross-selling and business development opportunities across the firm
The Person
- Qualified solicitor at partner level (or a senior associate with a clear pathway and strong following)
- Significant experience in Irish employment law, both contentious and advisory
- A portable client base and demonstrable business development track record
- Strong leadership qualities with experience managing and developing a team
- High levels of commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Collaborative in nature with the gravitas to operate effectively at the highest levels
