We are hiring for our client, a well-established, multi-site organisation, who are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their busy HR team based in their Belfast Head Office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a HR professional with strong employee relations experience to join a fast-paced organisation where you will work closely with senior managers, supporting a wide range of HR and ER activities across the business.
The successful Employee Relations Advisor will provide expert guidance on employment law, disciplinary and grievance matters, absence management, restructuring, and wider people management activities while supporting both strategic and operational HR initiatives.

The Role
- Provide HR and Employee Relations advice and support to managers across the organisation
- Support disciplinary, grievance, investigation, absence management and performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice
- Assist managers with restructuring, redundancy and TUPE related matters
- Produce HR reports and KPI analysis for senior management
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Support employee engagement and communication initiatives
- Deliver coaching and guidance to managers on people management matters
- Attend formal meetings and appeal hearings as required
- Support the delivery of strategic HR initiatives alongside the Head of HR
The Person
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR Advisory / Employee Relations role
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience working within a fast paced organisation - hospitality, retail, service centric businesses
- Strong knowledge of Northern Ireland employment legislation
- Experience within a multi-site organisation
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
- Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload
- Comfortable working in both operational and strategic HR activities
