We are hiring for our client, a leading MEP contractor operating across NI, ROI and GB, who are seeking an experienced Electrical Pre-Construction Manager to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and technically strong individual to be part of high-profile, complex engineering projects, managing the pre-construction phase of electrical packages from concept through to handover.

As Electrical Pre-Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing efficient, cost-effective and buildable solutions that align with client requirements and internal delivery teams.

The Role:

• Develop detailed designs for electrical packages from initial concept to site-ready stage
• Work closely with external consultants and subcontractors to identify best practice and value-engineered solutions
• Prepare electrical Pre-Construction designs for a range of MEP projects
• Oversee the tender-to-handover process, ensuring all documentation and coordination are complete
• Analyse drawings and technical specifications to assess risks and engineering opportunities
• Liaise with internal teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless transition into delivery
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business

The Person:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an electrical role, ideally within pre-construction, design, planning, estimating
• Sound technical knowledge of electrical systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work to deadlines
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-driven approach
