We are hiring for our client, a respected Main Contractor delivering high-quality fit out and refurbishment projects across the Built Environment sector. Due to continued project wins, they are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team in Lisburn.

This Design Manager role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects where precision, collaboration and buildability are at the heart of delivery. The successful Design Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating consultants, managing design risk, and ensuring seamless transition from concept through to construction.

The Role

• Manage the full design process from tender through to project completion
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
• Review design information for compliance, buildability and risk
• Chair design team meetings and manage design programmes
• Ensure timely issue and approval of design deliverables

The Person

• Proven experience as a Design Manager with a Main Contractor
• Background in construction, architecture or engineering
• Strong knowledge of fit out and refurbishment projects
• Organised, proactive and detail-focused
