An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading manufacturer based in Magherafelt. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the for the introduction of new products and updating current products

The Role

• Design of existing products producing detailed designs for production.
• Report writing and presenting engineering reports on various areas of design.
• Producing production specifications and engineering drawings
• Gaining knowledge of all relevant legislation and applying to designs
• Mentoring junior design engineers
• Sharing your design experience in design review meetings to ensure the customer gets the best solution
• Applying Continuous Improvement methodology

The Person

• Degree educated in a related engineering subject
• 3 years experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of 2D and 3D drawings
• Knowledge of Autodesk
