An exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading heavy manufacturing company in County Offaly. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team, delivering innovative technical solutions for a diverse customer base.

The Role:

• Lead the design and development of new products from concept through to production
• Drive improvements on existing product lines with innovative modifications
• Produce accurate 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials and design documentation
• Design a wide range of heavy-duty manufacturing equipment
• Liaise closely with customers, supply chain, and production teams to ensure smooth project delivery

The Person:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a mechanical design role, within a heavy manufacturing environment
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
