An excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a locally owned established manufacturing company. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you design and develop new products working closely with Project Managers

The Role

• Designing bespoke machinery and fabrications to customers spec.
• Site visits to determine specifications with customers.
• Ensuring designs promote ease of manufacturing and support manufacturing process.
• Producing detailed production drawings.
• Work with the production team to resolve issues with drawings.
• Organise and maintain design records.

The Person

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 3 years experience as a Design Engineer

• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Full driving license
