We are hiring for our client, a well-established manufacturing business, seeking a Dayshift Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Toome. This Dayshift Maintenance Engineer role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a stable environment with a strong focus on reliability, continuous improvement, and team collaboration.
The successful Dayshift Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance, reducing downtime, and supporting efficient operations across the site — all within a Monday–Friday days-only shift pattern.

The Role:
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across plant and machinery
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety standards
• Work closely with production teams to maximise operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
The Person:
• Experienced Maintenance Engineer/Fitter (electrical or mechanical bias)
• Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices
