We are hiring for our client, a well-established insurance and risk management firm, who are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their Belfast office. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of prestigious commercial clients across a wide range of industries, delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth.

The role is ideal for a highly motivated commercial insurance professional with strong technical knowledge, proven revenue generation experience, and excellent client relationship skills.

The Role:


• Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of commercial clients
• Deliver exceptional client service and act as the main point of contact for all client needs
• Identify client requirements, attend meetings, and present appropriate insurance solutions
• Develop your own client pipeline and network through consultative relationship building
• Attend industry events to promote the firm’s services and collaborate with other divisions
• Support retention through proactive risk assessment, proposals, and recommendations
• Monitor revenue streams, contribute to team objectives, and identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities
• Ensure all client documentation, proposals, and processes comply with company procedures and FCA regulations
• Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of service

 

The Person:


• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial insurance or corporate account executive role
• Strong all-around knowledge of commercial insurance products and the Northern Ireland broker market
• Proven ability to generate and maintain commercial insurance revenue streams
• ACII / Dip CII qualified or working towards
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills
• Self-motivated, resilient, and commercially minded
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
• Full, valid driving licence
