Claims Operational Support
We are hiring for our client, a small yet growing and highly regarded insurance business, to appoint a Claims Operational Support role, based in South Dublin (Dundrum).
This Claims role sits within a specialist claims function and offers a strong operational focus, supporting the oversight, coordination and administration of claims processes across multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with insurers, TPAs, finance teams and service providers to ensure claims are managed efficiently, accurately and in line with regulatory and financial controls.
Importantly, this is not a high-volume call handling role. This opportunity is better suited to someone who enjoys the operational, analytical and administrative side of claims management, with a focus on reporting, auditing, payments and process coordination.

The Role
- Oversee and audit TPA-managed claims files
- Review reserves, documentation and claims handling quality
- Validate and authorise claims payments within authority levels
- Prepare claims reports, dashboards and insurer MI packs
- Support reserve meetings and insurer collaboration
- Manage administration across property claims files
- Liaise with loss adjusters, insurers and service providers
- Reconcile payment files and support financial reporting
- Ensure all claims activity complies with regulatory and audit requirements
The Person
- 2+ years’ experience within claims administration or claims handling
- CIP qualification essential
- Strong analytical and auditing capability
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working with claims systems and reporting tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of financial controls and claims payment processes
- Experience working with insurers, brokers or TPAs desirable
