Description:
We are hiring for our client, a well-established motor underwriting agency, who are seeking to appoint a Broker Support Advisor to join their Motor Team. Based in Cavan with a flexible hybrid structure, this is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and experienced team supporting the day-to-day engagement between underwriting, claims, accounts, and broker partners.
The Broker Support Advisor role is well suited to someone with a background in insurance administration, underwriting support, or broker-facing customer service, looking for a long-term opportunity with strong development potential.

The Role:
• Review broker referrals to determine if risks are acceptable within authority limits
• Respond to queries from broker panel efficiently and professionally
• Liaise with internal departments including underwriting, accounts, audit, and claims
• Support account reconciliation and ensure broker accounts are up to date
• Assist the Audit Team with the review of broker-placed risks
• Ensure compliance with trading and regulatory standards, including CPD
• Support complaint handling in line with internal procedures
• Stay up to date with internal processes, technical guidance, and regulatory changes
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all broker interactions
The Person:
• Experience in an insurance, underwriting, or broker support role desirable
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Customer-focused with a proactive and professional approach
• High attention to detail and ability to manage tasks efficiently
• Keen to develop knowledge and meet CPD requirements
• Adaptable team player with a positive attitude
