The Role

• Monitor procurement portals and identify new opportunities.
• Lead preparation, coordination, and submission of bids and tenders.
• Write and tailor internal CVs, case studies, and capability documents.
• Maintain a central bid library and templates.
• Support wider business development and growth strategies.
• Establish best practice in bid management.
• Build and lead a dedicated bids team over time.

The Person

• Proven experience managing bids within the civil engineering or construction sector, ideally in a contractor environment.
• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Confident working independently and collaboratively with senior colleagues.
• Commercial mindset and enthusiasm for supporting business development.
