An excellent opportunity for an Applications Engineer to join a global engineering firm based in Dungannon.  Reporting to the Engineering Manager working as part of a team you will focus on on-site plant optimisation, commissioning and troubleshooting.

The Role

• Provide application support for the product range
•  Deliver on-site plant optimisation, commissioning and troubleshooting
• Communicate with customers and distributors during on-site work
• Gather and collate performance data on equipment and applications
• Advise customers on solutions for their application enquires
• Ensure correct equipment is selected to suit required applications
• Prepare simulations detailing expected performance parameters
• Prepare P&ID layouts
• Provide detailed technical requirements for bespoke plants to the engineering team. Assist in establishing lead-times and costs
• Investigate new applications for existing products

The Person

• Educated to degree level
• Experience within heavy industry
• Experience in industrial process design
• Proven knowledge in plant optimization, commissioning and troubleshooting
• Experience using design packages
