Senior Tax Consultant

A growing and forward thinking Boutique Advisory Firm is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join their busy Belfast team.

The successful candidate will get exposure to general Corporation Tax and Private Client Tax work. The role offers an opportunity to gain experience in such areas as Limited Liability Partnerships, Close Companies, Offshore Funds, High Net Worth Individuals; the Investment Manager Exemption and other aspects of asset management tax.

The Role:

• Researching and writing advice to clients
• The preparation of corporation tax computations and returns (and related partnership returns) within statutory deadlines
• The preparation of year-end tax provisioning calculations
• The preparation of reporting fund computations and investor summaries
• The preparation of PSA and ERS returns
• Provide support members of the tax team as required

The Person:

• Newly qualified or close to qualification in CTA, ICAEW or equivalent.
• Experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients
• High levels of commitment to both on-the-job development and study towards professional qualifications
