A well-established and highly respected accountancy practice is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager within Restructuring to join their growing Belfast team.

Within this role you would play an integral part of the Restructuring team helping clients improve performance and achieve sustainable growth, providing innovative solutions.  As a restructuring and insolvency specialist, you will be part of a team who are dedicated to their craft in bringing practical solutions to clients and their stakeholders, with hands-on involvement in the implementation of restructuring and insolvency plans.

The Role:

• Performing analysis on the historical and current financial performance of the client to determine the viability of the business and identifying immediate remedies to resuscitate the business
• Assisting the client in the preparation of cash flow projection and ascertain the validity of the assumptions adopted and liquidity requirements of the client
• Liaising with various stakeholders of the client in administration of various forms of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements (such as judicial management, liquidation and receivers and managers) including dealing with creditors’ queries, recovering and realizing assets and fulfilling the statutory obligations of the administrators
• Supporting the business development initiatives, including the preparation of proposals and identification of opportunities
• Working closely with Partners and Managers on client management and business development activities

The Person:

• Recently Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
• Previous experience within restructuring or insolvency would be ideal
• Proficient with the Microsoft office applications
• Be able to work in teams with good interpersonal skills
• Possess a good understanding of business drivers and their fundamentals
• Be resourceful, versatile, analytical and possess good project management skills
