We are hiring for our client, an established local employer of choice, who are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to secure a permanent, dayshift-only role within a professional, supportive environment. The successful Maintenance Electrician will play a key part in maintaining electrical systems, ensuring equipment operates efficiently, and supporting the smooth running of site operations.

The Role:
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
• Perform inspections, testing, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Support continuous improvement projects and energy-saving initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and reports
• Collaborate with the wider maintenance and operations team to achieve targets

The Person:
• Qualified Electrician/Engineer
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
