The Role:

• Manage and negotiate renewals, quotations, and ad-hoc enquiries with aligned brokers.
• Implement the regional underwriting strategy in partnership with the Underwriting Management Team.
• Coach and mentor junior underwriters, contributing to the teams knowledge and effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain strong trading relationships, ensuring high standards of client satisfaction and business retention.

The Person:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in underwriting, with a strong technical knowledge across various classes of insurance products.
• A proactive negotiator with excellent client engagement skills.
• Results-driven, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes.
• IT proficient, particularly with Excel and ideally with some Acturis experience.
