Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer  

Location/Department:Quality Department

Reporting to:Quality Manager

Summary of Responsibilities:The Quality Engineer will be required to regulate, control, and improve the quality of product and processes throughout the business and create a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Process

• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Manage the Document Control process.
• Manage the ISO9001 Internal Audit program.
• Write and implement Procedures, Work Instructions and other associated documentation in line with requirements.
• Manage Product Quality testing to ensure compliance to specification and drive continuous improvement.  
• Manage Process Auditing requirements to ensure compliance to specification and drive continuous improvement.  
• Collect and analyse data for trending information, presentation to management and assessment for improvement opportunities.
• Management of non-conformances from problem identification to resolution using various quality tools.
• Assist the overall New Product Development process.
• Leads the implementation and coordination of containment and corrective actions.
• Support the implementation of the 6S program and other Lean initiatives.

People

• Develop close working relationships across all departments.
• Communicate quality performance across all levels within the company.
• Provide quality related training.
• Provide leadership and direction in relation to the QMS.

Health and Safety

• Comply with company H&S policy and procedures.
• Assist when required in H&S management and training.
