Our client is seeking an ambitious Planning & Environmental Solicitor to join its growing litigation team, focusing on planning, environmental, regulatory and public law disputes. The successful candidate will advise on complex and high profile matters, work with a diverse client base and contribute to a Tier 1 specialist practice alongside experienced lawyers.

Based in Dublin with a hybrid working pattern, this role offers flexibility alongside valuable in person collaboration with colleagues, clients, counsel and technical specialists. The position may also involve appearances before courts, tribunals and regulatory bodies.

The Role:

• Manage litigation matters from inception through to hearing, resolution and appeal.
• Advise on judicial reviews, regulatory disputes, statutory challenges and public law proceedings.
• Draft legal opinions, pleadings, affidavits and written submissions.
• Work with clients, counsel, expert witnesses and technical consultants.
• Contribute to business development, legal updates and thought leadership.

The Person:

• Qualified solicitor with at least two years’ PQE.
• Hands on High Court litigation experience in Ireland.
• Experience in judicial review, regulatory, public law or commercial litigation.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, communication and client management skills.
• An interest in EU and Irish planning and environmental law is desirable.
