The Role:

As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring the optimal condition, cost, and efficiency of the sites assets. This role requires a mix of administrative and hands-on involvement (approximately 80/20 split), making it ideal for candidates looking to progress into a management role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maximising production performance by maintaining and optimizing plant equipment.
  • Implementing a structured preventative maintenance program to support business objectives.
  • Leading and motivating a multiskilled maintenance team, ensuring accountability and addressing performance issues where necessary.
  • Enhancing operational efficiency by minimising waste and improving energy usage.
  • Collaborating with senior management on site operations, capital projects, and budget control.

The Person:

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following:

  • A strong electrical bias with robust mechanical abilities.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Confidence to lead by example, work independently, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on achieving results.
