Description:
We are hiring for our client, a growing private equity–backed business based in North Down that is embarking on an exciting period of expansion. This newly created Finance Manager role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the company’s commercial and financial direction.

As Finance Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership, bringing structure, insight, and commercial acumen to support business growth. This is a hands-on position that will suit a motivated accountant seeking to make a tangible impact in a fast-moving environment.

The Role:
• Lead day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely management reporting
• Partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance and business growth
• Develop forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling to support strategic decisions
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control processes
• Implement systems and processes to strengthen financial controls and reporting
• Liaise with external auditors, investors, and advisors

The Person:
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of SME finance operations, ideally within a commercial or PE-backed environment
• Proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine interest in working within a high-growth business
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to wider business strategy
