Hunter Savage is hiring on behalf of a leading international legal services firm to appoint a Finance & Banking Associate into its London practice. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly collegiate banking and finance team advising on domestic and cross border finance transactions.

The role offers exposure to high quality and visible transactions, including fund finance, leveraged acquisition finance, real estate finance, refinancings and restructurings, alongside leading domestic and international clients.

The Opportunity

This Finance & Banking Associate position provides a broad practice spanning banking, finance, leveraged transactions, real estate finance and restructuring. The successful candidate will support a diverse client base of lenders and borrowers across significant domestic and international matters, often involving complex financing structures and multiple jurisdictions.

Practice Focus

The team advises on fund finance, including direct lending by private credit funds, leveraged acquisition financing, real estate investment and development finance, enforcement strategies, standstill arrangements, refinancings and restructurings. The role offers broad transactional exposure, opportunities for client contact and continued development within an international practice.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should be qualified solicitors with three to five years’ post qualification experience in banking and finance, gained within a leading law firm in Dublin or another major onshore jurisdiction. The opportunity will suit lawyers with strong technical, drafting and transactional management skills, commercial awareness, a commitment to business development and a collaborative, client focused approach.
