Job Title: Banking & Finance Solicitor (1-3 PQE)

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading law firm in Luxembourg seeking a skilled Banking & Finance Solicitor with 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) from a top-tier law firm. This is a unique opportunity to join an elite team advising on a wide array of high-profile and complex banking and finance transactions, working with a diverse portfolio of prestigious clients both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients across a full suite of transactional banking matters, including fund finance, structured finance, securitization, and general banking and finance.
• Provide tailored legal advice to a range of clients, including domestic and international companies, top-tier financial institutions, and other prominent law firms.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex documentation for various banking and finance transactions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication and high-quality service throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Stay informed on relevant Luxembourg, UK, and EU regulatory developments affecting banking and finance law, ensuring compliance and advising clients on potential impacts.

Qualifications and Experience

• PQE: 1 to 3 years of experience in general banking and finance law from a top-tier law firm.
• Professional Qualification: Qualified Solicitor in the UK, Ireland, or eligible for Admission to the Luxembourg Bar.
• Specialized Experience: Previous experience in fund finance, structured finance, and/or securitization is advantageous but not essential.

• Strong understanding of banking and finance law and regulations, particularly in a cross-border context.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage and advise on complex transactions within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong client service orientation with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively under deadlines.
